PhD Seminar 1 General Format: PhD students must present a 40 minute seminar on thesis work, followed by a 15-20 minute question period. The seminar is open to all the members of the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. All faculty, cross-appointed academic staff, post-docs and students are expected to attend.

Master students present a seminar each semester (Seminars I-III) whereas PhD students present the first seminar after 6 months of their registration (Seminar I) and then yearly on the 18th month (Seminar II) and 36th month (Seminar III). PhD students must also present a Qualifying Seminar between 24th and 30th month after registration.

Small groups of students and tutors will be formed to discuss each student's dissertation topic, methodology and intended contribution.
